About us

Paradas na Estrada brings together public information on gas stations, service areas, SAU bases (the roadside assistance bases run by the concessionárias, the private companies that operate the toll highways) and rest areas on the highways of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Paraná and Santa Catarina. Stops are organized by highway, sentido (direction of travel) and km, as on the kilometer posts by the road, so you can find the next stop on your way or the one closest to where you are.

Each stop shows the services reported by the sources, including what it does not have, and buttons that open directions in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. Services are shown according to the sources: always check on site.

The data comes from OpenStreetMap, the free map of the world made by volunteers, and from official open data published by ANTT (the federal land transportation agency), ARTESP (the São Paulo State transportation agency), DNIT (the federal highway department) and ANP (the national petroleum agency).
